Those who wrote a blank check to the United States to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day should not have to struggle to find work, food, housing and basic transportation. Do you agree?

About Us

VeteranRelief.org is a community service of CrowdSourceNews.us. Together with volunteers from across the nation we are building a web of support across many organizations and agencies all working together toward a common cause of making sure our veterans are well taken care of wherever they may be. We serve as a force multiplier and referral base for existing veteran relief organizations and efforts where they are available.

Our volunteers include military members and veterans, military family members, people with disabilities, special Olympians, members of multiple humanitarian relief organizations including The Cajun Navy Relief, Skywarn and SpotterNetwork weather team members, and more.

This effort is led by Staff Sergeant Laban Johnson of the Texas State Guard. Many of us know each other from working together in weather-related disaster relief efforts. We found that we had spare time and energy between weather events to leverage our training and experience and help the community in other ways. Realizing that veterans needs are an ongoing issue, SSgt Johnson began to organize the effort.

Our team has a CAD system to keep track of tickets on the web and a world wide VOIP communications channel on the Zello application. CALL US ON ZELLO: https://zello.com/channels/k/f6zlO The name of the channel is veteran relief.

We are also on Facebook, our Facebook group is named VeteranRelief.org and is located at this URL: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1578408065554446/
